Proposed designs for the Symposium.
"Changchun is a beautiful city in northeast China, with a total coverage area of 20,571 square kilometers and 6.8 million population including 2.8 million urban population. It enjoys the reputation of the" Culture City, Movie City, Auto City and Forest City" in China, and now is trying to make a "Sculpture City".
"In order to develop the international culture and art exchanges as well as to promote the construction of the urban sculpture, the Municipal Government of Changchun and the Guiding Committee for Urban Sculpture Construction of China have co-hosted Changchun China International Sculpture symposium for three times in 1997, 1998 and 1999"
"With the theme of "Friendship, Peace and Spring", 2000 International Sculpture Symposium (the fourth year ) is on its way."
